The Government of Algeria, is organizing with the collaboration of the African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIMBANK), the African Union Commission and AFCFTA Secretariat, the 04th ‘’Intra-African Trade Fair’’ (IATF2025), from 04th to 10th September 2025 in Algiers, Algeria.

This 4th edition will be organized under the theme “Gateway to New Opportunities’’, will witness the participation of more than 2000 exhibitors from 140 countries in several fields, such as, agriculture, industry, energy, procurement services, research and innovation, health, and startups.     

IATF2025, will provide a unique and valuable platform for businesses, traders and industry operators, to access the growing African market of over 1.4 billion people with a GDP of over US$ 3.5 trillion.

I – CONSULAR VISA

Submission of Applications Upon receipt by the diplomatic and consular representations of the lists of participants, concerned individuals may approach the Algerian Embassies and Consulates in their country of residence to submit their visa applications. Applications may be submitted individually or collectively through local points designated by AFREXIMBANK. Only participants whose names appear on the lists sent by the central administration may proceed with the visa application process.

Required Documents

• Visa application form fully and duly filled;

• Passport with at least six (06) months validity;

• Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information;

• Document confirming valid registration on the IATF 2025 platform;

• Two (02) recent passport-sized photos;

• Visa fee payment receipt;

• Hotel reservation**;

• Round-trip flight reservation

**. **If not available at the time of submission of the application, applicants must submit these two (02) documents without fail when collecting their visas.

Visa Processing and Validity diplomatic passports Holders, services and Laissez-passer from regional and international organizations are subject to the usual visa application procedures for entry into the Algerian national territory.

Exemption is subject to the existence of a visa waiver agreement for the holders of such travel documents. Processing period must not exceed one (01) week.

Regarding visa validity, diplomatic and consular posts will issue visas according to the following procedures: • For individual participants: Tourist visa, one (01) month single-entry, to cover only the event period (valid from August 15 to September 15);

• For exhibitors: Business visa valid for three (03) months with multiple entries;

• Employees of bank delegations required to travel to Algeria multiple times for work meetings: Business visa valid for six (06) months with multiple entries.

II – VISA ON ARRIVAL

For exceptional and duly justified cases, visas on arrival will be issued in coordination with the relevant authorities of the Ministry of Interior, Local government and regional planning (MICLAT).

Conditions for Issuance Any foreigners arriving in the Algerian national territory must present themselves to the competent authorities at border control points with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa. However, in emergency cases, the Border Police may issue – exceptionally – a regularization visa to foreigners who present themselves at border posts without a visa.

This measure concerns foreigners residing in countries where they don’t have any Algerian diplomatic or consular representation.

Required Documents

1. Visa application form fully and duly filled;

2. Valid passport for more than six (06) months;

3. Copy of passport pages showing personal information;

4. Documents proving the request for entry into Algerian territory (valid registration on the IATF 2025 platform);

5. Proof of visa fee payment in accordance with Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law;

6. Proof of accommodation in Algeria (hotel reservation);

7. Return ticket. To board a flight to an Algerian airport, the participants who are applying for a visa on arrival must have in their possession a boarding certificate issued by the competent authorities of our Ministerial Department.

ON ACCREDITATION OF JOURNALISTS (IATF- 2025)

The Embassy informs the press agencies and journalists willing to cover this event, to submit their visa applications from 1st June to 20th August 2025, on the Embassy email: contact@algerianembassy.co.in, by providing the following documents:

1. Application forms dully and fully filed (to download from https://www.algerianembassy.co.in/pdf/Visa_application42.pdf ).

2. Official request from the media body of the journalist.

3. Copy of professional Card of the journalist.

4. Recent passport photograph (format JPEG).

5. Copy of passport of the concerned person.

6. List of Audio and Technical equipment.
