
On the sidelines of his participation in the African Union Executive Council, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks today in Addis Ababa with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Mr. Ligon Mbotjwan.
The meeting was an opportunity for the Minister of State to congratulate the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lesotho on his country's election to the African Union Peace and Security Council and to affirm Algeria's readiness to strengthen inter-coordination at the level of this important body in order to contribute to the establishment of security and peace throughout the African continent. At the bilateral level, the two parties agreed to explore further opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic and development fields.
