Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Mr. Ahmed Attaf on Wednesday held bilateral talks with the Foreign Minister of the sister Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, on the sidelines of his participation in the African Union Executive Council meeting in Addis Ababa.
The meeting was an opportunity to review the situation in the Sahel-Sahara region and prospects for continued joint efforts to strengthen development in this shared space, particularly through implementing major integration-fostering projects.
The two ministers also discussed the privileged bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring prospects to bolster them.
