At the start of his official visit to Greece, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, was received this morning by the Greek Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
During this meeting, Mr. Ahmed Attaf conveyed to the Greek Prime Minister the greetings of both the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Gharib.
This reception provided an opportunity for both sides to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and partnership between the two countries, and their mutual desire to develop bilateral cooperation in various vital and priority areas.
Both sides also expressed their great satisfaction with the level of coordination between the Algerian and Greek missions within the framework of their current membership in the UN Security Council, stressing the convergence of the two countries’ positions on many issues of common interest, foremost among them the growing challenges facing the Mediterranean region
