In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic and his constant concern for the welfare of members of the national community abroad, including facilitating their travel to their homeland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hereby informs our citizens residing abroad and holders of valid foreign passports that it has been decided, on an exceptional basis, to extend the current facilitation measure allowing them to enter and leave the national territory without a visa until December 31, 2026.
This facilitation measure allows beneficiaries to present only a valid foreign passport, accompanied by a national biometric passport or national biometric identity card, even if they have expired, provided that the same documents are used for entry and departure.
